As a reminder to all there is a day user fee required when using the multiuse trails, located on the New Waverly side of the SHNF. It is $5.00 per day per person or $25.00 for the annual pass. The pass should be carried on your person while you are riding on the multiuse trails. You can obtain this only at the SHNF District Office located on FM 1375 Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
SHFEA urges all forest users to acquire this permit. The pass is for one year from date of purchase.

Coldspring Side of SHNF
Directions: From Cleveland, Hwy 59 take FM 2025, towards Coldspring. Approximately 10 miles turn right onto FM 2666, go a little over 1/2 mile turn right onto Forest Road 217-A, Turn left into parking area (Hunters Camp).
From Coldspring take FM 2025 south to FM 2666, see directions above.
